A way forward

The trajectory of my life over the past seven years or so has taken me from an unmotivated, risk-averse, fearful, directionless boy, to a man taking most of his steps with purpose. As I’ve watched other younger people—and even people my age—moving through their own lives, I’ve noticed that they experience many of the same issues, and that I often have something helpful to say about them. I still have a long way to go to be the man I want to be, but it seems to bolster other’s spirits to see even a few steps ahead. If you’re anywhere that I used to be, please know that there’s a way forward.

A good friend observed to me that the change I’ve experienced was a very unlikely occurrence, and he’s right. The good news about that is if a case like me can change, then you can.

Do the next thing.
