I’ve never been quite sure if I should call myself a “Hoosier” or not. I’ve lived in central Indiana for nearly all of my life, but I’ve always heard that a Hoosier is technically someone who was actually born here.  It’s a perpetual mini identity crisis.

Regardless of whether I am Hoosier or not, Indianapolis is my home.  I’ve sunk into the soil and can’t help but love this place.  I’ve learned that there’s a great benefit in being in one place for a long time: the chances of randomly running into someone you know while you’re out and about increases exponentially over time.  I love that.  My hope is that I can build a career that helps make my home a better place.
